Macro Monday and the theme is contraption. I think this is some kind of switch for a Sega Megadrive. I asked my son if he had anything that would work and this is what he gave me.

It's Sunday and that means FotoSöndag. This weeks theme is cooking and that is actually not my favorite thing to do. I did manage to get some pretty desent photos though but I liked this of the pineapple that was supposed to go into our stew but got left out because it didn't taste good enough.

Last night there was a culture event in the city I live nearby and they had landed a hot air balloon on the town square!

I really like Macro Mondays. They get you to think outside the box and get some new inspiration. Today's theme is: It's A-Peeling To Me and I thought that everybody will do something with fruit. My husband came up with the idea that you peel electrical cords too and that is what I have been photographing today.

This Sunday the theme in FotoSöndag is Promise. I don't usually give any new years resolutions but I have a whish to read more books this year than I've done in a while. I've been listening to a lot of books, but that is not really the same as holding a "real" book and the feeling of turning the pages.

It's number 300 today! I'm actually pretty proud of myself that I've made it so far in this challenge. Only 65 days to go now.

I didn't want to go out in the boring weather to take any photos and it's starts to get hard to figure out what to use in the house. But I can always use my other hobby as an inspiration.

It has been a snowstorm here most of the day and the poor birds outside looked like the are freezing.

Yesterday I asked my husband to buy a rose. Yes I do need to ask him to buy my flowers ;) Well the thing is that I wasn't sure on what song I wanted to take a photo inspired by and one of my options was The Rose by Bette Midler. Today that poor rose already had started to wither and I thought it was a shame not to use it as a modell before letting it go.

It's Macro Monday and this weeks theme is: Inspired by a song. Well there is a lot of songs out there and for some strange reason I came to think of Hallelujah Goat by Volbeat. I'm pretty sure that no one else in our Flickr group will have inspiration from the same song.

Yesterday my phone took a fall and the display burst in a lot of cracks. So I have gotten myself a new friend today.

It's been snowing like crazy today but my husband still went out to work in our forest. He did take a pause when I walked by.

It's really cold outside and we had some ice crystals on our windows.

Trying to catch Yellow-hammer birds on photo was harder than I thought it would be, but this turned out rather ok.

The weather was no good today. Too windy to suite me. So instead I played with cooking oil, water and colored paper.

First day of the new year and this is my first picture of the year and also number 281 in my 365 project. I'm struggling a bit with this right now because it's hard to find things to take pictures of outside, but I'm determined to see this through.
