 Had an idea of a photo with Chive flowers, and remembered this vase that we got when we got married. Really happy with how it looks like a hair piece. 

Smile on Saturday - Round and Round

Have you ever thought about how many round objects you have in your surroundings? Well I have today. Because this weeks theme is round and round. But in the end I went for the objects I tend to spend a lot of time with: My nail polish bottles.

Macro Mondays - In A Bottle

I took a lot of photos of a brown bottle with water in it and waterdrops on it. They look ok, then I got this idea to use my nail art glitter and stars and kind of make them swirl around in the water in a clear bottle and I have to say I kind of like the result.

Macro Mondays - My Favourite Novel (fiction)

This was a hard one. But one book that I really like a lot and have read more than one time is Dan Browns Angels & Demons so I made a set up with a Silver Angel, my camera, tripod and some backlit.

Macro Mondays - Double Exposure

This is the first time I've tried doing double exposure but I think I will try again because it was pretty fun and easy to do directly in the camera.  I did however make it black & white in PSE because I think the effect got better that way.

Macro Mondays - Fingertip(s)

Fingertip! What kind of photo are you supposed to take on that theme. Well I use a lot of cuticle creams and hand creams so I got this idea to make a nice pile and do a fun photo of that and so I did :)

Macro Mondays Bottoms Up

I haven't posted so much here lately, been busy working, but this week I have taken a photo that works well on the theme bottoms up. Because this is the bottom of a rose that my son got for his graduation. I'm not a person who is good keeping flowers, but this dried and looked interesting so I kept it just so I could take photos.

Broken is todays theme and this photo could be interpred in two ways. Oh no, my gingerbread broke or as I think most of you would see it as a broken heart.

I was not that happy when I realized that most of the photos I took during this waterdrop session was out of focus, but this one turned out pretty good anyway.

Not much to say about this more than it's a silhouette of Papa Smurf.

Macro Mondays - Crime

There are so many things that you can do with a theme like crime, but keep in mind it needs to be in macro. I was thinking of taking our Cluedo boardgame out and do something with that when I suddenly came across the thought of using one of my beloved smurfs again. And this one is definitly commiting a crime by driving way to fast on a 50km/h road.

I've taken photos of sparklers before but not when moving them around so this was new to me and a really fun experience.

Foto Söndag - Opposites

It's Sunday again and time for FotoSöndag. This weeks theme is opposites. I guess I could have come up with something more imaginatively, but I really like this photo.

And what is more opposite from eachother than black & white both in color and in chess.

FotoSöndag 2/4

This weeks theme in FotoSondag is Taste. And for some reason I didn't check that out an extra time before I went out and took the photo I wanted for the theme. In my mind the theme was collect. My brilliant idea was to show how I as a child collected marbles and played with them with my friends.

Well they don't taste that well, but for me when I see the kids at school bringing their marbles it gives me a taste of spring so in the end it still fits the theme.

This Monday the theme in Macro Mondays is Heart. I've hade this idea for a while to take flour or suger and do some pattern in it and today was the day to take ideas and make them into reality.

It's Sunday and that means FotoSöndag and this weeks theme is Filter. If I had any old kind of filters to use directly on the camera I would probably had used them to take todays photo, but I don't. So instead I took a photo of a coffee filter and used some filters to edit the photo.

The weather was no good today. Too windy to suite me. So instead I played with cooking oil, water and colored paper.
