Another Blue tit

 This poor little blue tit got all his feathers in disorder by the wind today!

Blue tit

 It snowing all time right now in Sweden and the small birds are finding it hard to find food in the forest. We try to feed them as much as we can. This little Blue tit found its way to our feeding station the other day. 

Robin

 One of my photography goals was to take a nice photo of a Robin. Well today finally that goal was achieved!

 This little cute Great tit sat in the apple tree outside our house. 

Coal tit

 Right now we have so many birds at our feeding station, but I have a little favorite and it's the Coal tit. Here in black and white. 

Blue tit

 Been outside taking photos of the birds at our feeding station today. One of the most common is the Blue tit and also a bit of a favorite. A very cocky bird!

Zebra finch

 We went to an elk park the other day and outside of that facility there were an aviary with Budgies and Zebra finch. Took this portrait. 

Baby Magpie

 Right outside our bedroom window a Magpie couple have their nest and the other day this little Magpie was sitting under the bush.

Common Caffinch

 I rescued this little fellow yesterday after it had hit our window. Took care of it for a couple of minutes before it was ready to fly again.

I have taken and edited a lot of photos lately, but forgotten to post them here. I've started to take some online courses and this was editing with the help of some Lightroom presets. Very fun to work with the photos this way. 

This little Common Caffinch and it's friends is seen very often in our garden right now. 

Mallard

Just found this photo of a female Mallard in our pond. It was taken last summer, and right now I miss summer.

A couple of weeks ago when I walked down to the pond I found a single female Mallard swimming around there. She was kind enough to let me take som portraits of her.

Had some really nice company in the garden yesterday morning. Got late to work since I had to take some photos of this beautiful European Green Woodpecker.

European Pied Flycatcher

This has been a great week when it comes to photo equipment for me. Got my new camera and some new lenses as well. Will be lots of fun. I tried my new Tamron 150-600 mm lens yesterday and so far I'm happy with it, but I need to get to know it better of course.

This poor little bird must have a bad pain in it's neck!

We bought a new bowl for the birds to drink and take a bath in and it looks like the Eurasian Tree Sparrows really like it.

Common Caffinch

It's been so quite here. I have not had much time to edit my photos and enter competitions but today I managed to get a pretty nice photo of a common caffinch.

Fotosöndag - Negative Space

I went out in the cold weather to find some inspiration for today's negative space theme and there she was Mrs. Great Spotted Woodpecker sitting on the highest branch in our tree. Just as she knew that I needed that kind of photo. I have done some work in Elements to get the right whitebalance and took away some branches, but that's it.

I love watching the birds at my birdfeeding stations, and yesterday I finally took the time to get the camera out and take some photos. My absolute favorite is the bullfinch, but we don't have many here at all, so instead I give you a portrait of a blue tit.

FotoSöndag - Eye-contact

I didn't have a photo for this week's FotoSöndag until we took a late walk and our neighbours was trying to rescue a Magpie baby that had fallen down from the nest. This little chick made pretty good eye-contact with us.
