Anastasia

 In the region where I live we have the benefit of lots of free concerts during the summer. And it's not always in the "capitol" of the region but in smaller places like Ingelstad that is the closest community from where I live as well. Ingelstad isn't a big city or so it lives about 2000 persons there. We have about 10 minutes by car to get there. 

Anyway a couple of weeks ago a rising star in the Swedish music industry was giving a free concert there, and I've been listening to her for a little while and really like her. So despite being way too tired we went to the concert, and boy I'm I glad that I did! A beautiful Swedish summer evening with actually one of the best concerts I've been to. Her voice and charisma is amazing. And she seemed very very nice as well. For once I had brought my main camera (Nikon Z6 III) with me and got some really nice shots that I wanted to share with you. 

I would also like to thank Anastasia of course for the amazing concert and Scensommar Växjö for arranging this. 

Elk portrait

 A couple of days ago we had a very nice guest in our garden. A young Elk that feeded on pears from our tree. Since the background was a bit disturbing I made it to a solid portrait. 

Zebra finch

 We went to an elk park the other day and outside of that facility there were an aviary with Budgies and Zebra finch. Took this portrait. 

Horse

 I needed a good horse photo for a challenge I was entering. Found this among photos I took 2016 at the Tingsryd Travbana. Made some changes and are really happy with how it turned out.

One thing that is very present in my home is my husband that is called Jörgen som he is my letter J.

FotoSöndag - Inspiration

A big inspiration for me is my sons, the youngest is still living at home and he inspires me all the time to read books, play video games and to be a better person. But the biggest inspiration is to be their mother I can't descripe how much that means to me. So todays photo is a portrait of my wonderful, thoughtful, emotional and smart son.

I had no idea what I should use to take this weeks theme photo. But in the end the best result came with my mobil flashlight and a garlic!

Foto Sondag - Deep

Deep or Depth is this weeks theme and I took this photo of our son yesterday where he is deep into is book sitting with the feet in the refreshing water at our pond.

This week the theme in FotoSöndag is Warm and what could keep you warm better than the spring sun!

Today I got the honor to take photos of a good friend who is pregnant. This is the first time I've ever done this and I'm quite happy with the outcome.

Moving into a new place is exhausting so my son is taking a break playing some guitar.

It's been snowing like crazy today but my husband still went out to work in our forest. He did take a pause when I walked by.

This Sunday our theme in FotoSöndag is waiting and appropriately enough our oldest son was going home and had to wait for the train.

Harmony is todays theme in FotoSöndag and I tried to photograph lots of different things, but the most harmonic I could think of is my son reading a good book.

I'm soo behind in posting and it's all because I've been sick. This is a self portrait of me laying in bed with a temprature.

Spent a lovely Midsummer with really good friends and tooks this photo of their daughter.

I had to opportunity to take some photos of my friends daughter just before she was attending her prom.

I took a lot of picutres and though her dress was gorgeous this is the one I'm most pleased with.

The weather outside was not very nice today either. My inspiration to take outdoor pictures was about zero so instead I took a self portrait.

So here we go for day 12 you get me in black and white.

Day 2

I wanted to challenge myself to take pictures I normally wouldn't do. And one of those things are portraits.

I asked my son to modell for me and he is a pretty easy person to photograph. I converted it to black and white since I feel that portraits often works better that way.

I'm well aware of the fact that this might not be a masterpiece, but I like how it turned out anyway.
