Macro Mondays - Cloth

Hm, this didn't feel like a very exiting theme at first, but not so boring at all to be honest. It was quite fun to look around for fabrics to use.

Fotosöndag - Negative Space

I went out in the cold weather to find some inspiration for today's negative space theme and there she was Mrs. Great Spotted Woodpecker sitting on the highest branch in our tree. Just as she knew that I needed that kind of photo. I have done some work in Elements to get the right whitebalance and took away some branches, but that's it.

Macro Mondays - Pick Two

This week we got two different lists with words that should be combined into one combination. I chose a simple one. Twisted Candy. As we have a very limited size to these photos my favorite wasn't going to work and my husband liked this very Swedish inspired candy the best.

Macro Mondays - Hobby

It's no secret that my big hobby apart from taking photos is nail polish. I have a nail polish blog that I've been posting in for six years and my collection is always growing. So I didn't have to think twice on what to show for todays theme.

Macro Mondays - White on White

To photograph something white against a white background is a bit of a challenge. I did pretty well actually, but I will admit to doing some adjustments in Elements, not much though. This little meringue is actually only 4 mm big.

I love watching the birds at my birdfeeding stations, and yesterday I finally took the time to get the camera out and take some photos. My absolute favorite is the bullfinch, but we don't have many here at all, so instead I give you a portrait of a blue tit.
