Anastasia

 In the region where I live we have the benefit of lots of free concerts during the summer. And it's not always in the "capitol" of the region but in smaller places like Ingelstad that is the closest community from where I live as well. Ingelstad isn't a big city or so it lives about 2000 persons there. We have about 10 minutes by car to get there. 

Anyway a couple of weeks ago a rising star in the Swedish music industry was giving a free concert there, and I've been listening to her for a little while and really like her. So despite being way too tired we went to the concert, and boy I'm I glad that I did! A beautiful Swedish summer evening with actually one of the best concerts I've been to. Her voice and charisma is amazing. And she seemed very very nice as well. For once I had brought my main camera (Nikon Z6 III) with me and got some really nice shots that I wanted to share with you. 

I would also like to thank Anastasia of course for the amazing concert and Scensommar Växjö for arranging this. 

Colorful cups

For quite some time ago I bought a set of colourful cups that I had this idea of filling with flowers or berries and make a still life of. Well now I have completed all of the cups and why not give you a summary of how it turned out. Please tell me if you have a favourite. 

  

Colorful Tulips

 I found this lovely bowl online and just had to buy it (at Tradera). And when it arrived I realised that it would look great with spring flowers from the garden in it. So into the garden I went to pick flowers and make an arrangement.

Grape Hyacinth

 It's time for the next of my beautiful colourful cups to be used in a still life. It's spring time outside and I found some Grape Hyacinths that worked very well with my cobalt blue cup. 

Semla

 Ok so I guess you know that in Sweden we love our Swedish Fika and the weeks before Easter it's a pastry called Semla that is the big thing. I couldn't resist buying one the other day, and before it was eaten (it was delicious) I took this photo.

Sphere

 So I usually attend a group called Macro Mondays on Flickr. Every Monday there is a new theme and it has to be a macro photo. This week the theme was sphere. I had an idea and went on to find my old marbles. I really like the simplicity of this photo 

Moose tracks

 Went for a walk the other day and found these heart shaped moose tracks. 

Pink Tulips

 I just love this season when the stores are full with Tulips! Photo taken in natural light. 

Colorful cups with some Smurfs!

 I took a still life photo of my colourful cups yesterday, was pretty happy with the photo, but a friend of mine commented that it was way to little Smurfs in the photo. We can not have it that way so of course I took some more photos :)

A little late Christmas greeting!

 I've had a great Christmas, I really hope that you did too! I have not spent many minutes infront of my computer so that is why you get a little belated Christmas greeting from me. 

Christmas Coffee Pot

 Saw this on an auction site and just couldn't resist it. It turned out into a Christmas still life. 

Forest Gnome

 Always use your imagination when you go out for a photo walk and you will see things you hardly can believe.. That's how I met a forest gnome on my walk yesterday. 

Poinsettia

 Couldn't wait any longer.. it was time for a Christmas still life. This is also a part of my series of photos with small colourful (is black colourful??) espresso cups. Black and red always works so great together. 

Fly Agaric

 Can't help but love these dangerous mushrooms, so colourful!

Lingonberry

 I bought these small cups and my plan was to take a photo with matching flowers in each. The red one didn't become flowers in but Lingonberry's that I thought made a perfect match. 

Dahlia arrangement

 For the first time in a long time I felt like shooting a still life. So I took my Dahlia arrangement (from my garden) and did a still life and I really like how it turned out. 

Stalpet Waterfalls

 We've been on a short road trip to our son in Linköping and on our way home we decided to visit Stalpet, a waterfall not that far from where we live. I had my ND-filters with me and I'm really happy with the result. 

Pink Cup

 Today is the first day of summer (at least according to me) and I have made a summer still life with my favourite pink cup! I really don't know what kind of flower this is. 

A foggy day in Uppsala

 Went to visit our youngest son and his wife in Uppsala. It was a rainy and foggy weekend but I kind of like the mood in this photo taken downtown Uppsala.

Crocus

 It's spring outside! Hard to resist the colourful Crocuses in the garden!
