Forest Gnome

 Always use your imagination when you go out for a photo walk and you will see things you hardly can believe.. That's how I met a forest gnome on my walk yesterday.

 I've got a new macro lens and I love it! Took this photo of a very frosty branch today in the cold but beautiful forest.

 Autumn is here and with some help with layers and overlays I edited this to a magic forest with mushroom in it.

Summer in the Birch forest

Took this photo when we visited a place that is very special for my daughter in law. I do understand why she loves this place so much. 

365 project all over again!

 I have started a mission! I did managed to get myself through the project 365 a couple of years ago. Since then I have learned so much more about taking photos and most of all how to edit photos that might not came out the way you had planed. So I have started to re-edit all of those photos taken during that year. Today I thought I would show you how much a different editing can do to a photo. 

This photo was from day 34 and it was called green moss, pretty accurate since it shows green moss. There is nothing wrong with the original day 34, but not a very interesting photo. So what I have done is to crop in another way, I have enhanced the texture and clarity on the actual moss not the surrounding tree. 

So what do you think? Is the original or the new edited version the better one?

Merry Christmas!

 When I took this photo in October (I think..) I had no idea that we would be celebrating Christmas just like this little Christmas tree in the forest. Alone and isolated from others.

Well it's Christmas neither you like it or not so have yourself a Merry Little Christmas. Stay at home, stay safe and stay healthy.

 Been playing with double exposure in Photoshop. One black and white photo and one color. Plus a whole lot of fun editing. 

Fotosöndag - Light

Yesterday I went out to our forest and took some photos. One was a photo with some great light, but I wasn't that happy with it. After som work in Photoshop it finally showed that wonderful evening light that I was trying to capture.

Macro Mondays - Goes Together Like

Well, there are so many things that goes together like a horse and carriage but my eyes caught this pretty little mushroom in the forest one of those who can not live without moss.

For me recreation is to talk a walk in the forest with my camera and then get home and sit down and edit the photos.
