Sometimes you forget that you a lot of things that are worth visiting very close to your home. One of those things is the old church in Jät, Sweden whos oldest parts are from 1226.

This is one of the chandeliers in the church seen straight from below so you also can see parts of the beautiful ceiling paintings.

My husband had to drive to Eksjö to deliver some details and why not combine that with a ride in our MG C convertible and some tourism in the old town of Eksjö.

I visited our village pub last night and took a walk home pretty late in the evening. On my way home I took this photo. Not a really good one but I kind of like the magical atmosphere in it.

Our neighbour has a training course for his trotters very close to our house, took this photo of him today.

Today we went to Kalmar to participate in a Photo Marathon. 8 hours, 8 themes and 8 pictures should be presented to the judges when the day was over. You had to take the pictures in the order the themes was presented to you.

Lots of rain today, but that makes some of the flowers look amazing when they are wet. This is a Summer Dahlia.
