Ö=Örter

Örter or Herbs in English is something that definitly always can be found at my home. Not always fresh as the one in the photo but dried.

Ä=Ägg

Ägg or Egg in English is something that I always have at home. I eat a lot of eggs every week in various of forms. These beauties are from my friends hens.

Å=Återbruk

The letter Å doesn't exsist in so many other languages than Swedish, but here we have it and the challenge I'm attending is Swedish so lets go for Å, Ä and Ö as well.

Återbruk is translated to english as recycling. Re using of things. I thought hard of what I had on the letter Å in my home til I remembered the candlesticks made by one of the workers at my husbands company from sheet metal that is left over from the production.

Z=Zoo

What on earth do you have in your home that starts with Z? Not much in Swedish I can asure you. But here we have a candy called Zoo. The logo of that candy is something that we have a mug with. So a Zoo mug with some flowers is my letter Z photo.

Y=Yatzy

When our son was sick a few years ago we played lots and lots of Yatzy at the hospital. Now and then we play it at home, it still kind of fun.

Macro Mondays - Yellow

It wasn't hard to decide what yellow item I wanted to photograph for todays challenge. I love my daffodils that has grown in our garden for many years. I remember them from when I was a child and my grandmother lived here.

X=Xerox

Xerox paper is what I found in my house on the letter X and that is something that I have been using a lot of during these two years in school. Lots of stuff to print.

V=Vatten

Vatten/Water is something that I'm very glad that we have in our home. I have started to take waterdrop photos and are enjoying it so much.

U=Ur

Ur or Watch in english is my letter U item from my home.

T=Tomat

Tomatoes is my favorite vegetable and are also a very beautiful one.

S=Smurf

One thing that I have in my house is my collection of Smurfs. I love these little blue fellows and one thing that I have decided is that as soon as I start making money I will reward my self with some new blue friends.

R=Rubank

We live in a farm out in the countryside and in the barns you can find older tools that probably was used by my grandparents and their parents. This rubank is one of those tools.

Q=Queen

I thought long and hard about what on earth I had in my home starting with the letter Q. In Swedish that is very rare. Then I realized that I had a couple of CD:s with the rock band Queen. I decided to show you Innuendo since that contains one of my favorite Queen songs, Show Must Go On.

We went for a ride to look for birds and this is my favorite photo from our little trip around the village!

P=Popcorn

Happy Easter to all of you! For the letter P I chosed to photograph my husbands favorite treat, popcorn. It also happens to be easter and in Sweden that is called Påsk. So there is a lot p items in this photo.

O=Oregano

One of my favorite spices is Oregano and as the photo shows it works great to pasta and tomatos.

N=Nagellack

Nagellack or Nail Polish in english is an obsession of mine. Yes, I am a hoarder, I have about 1500 bottles.

M=Monstera

Monstera is one of those green plants that I get to survive in my home and I really love the look of those leaves.

L=Lego

This photo is representing both L in my A-Ö challenge and this weeks theme in Macro Mondays that happens to be plastic. We have lots and lots of Lego in our home. Both our boys loved to build and play with it. One of the best toys that has ever been made in my opinion.

K=Kamera

Kamera or Camera as you spell it in English is my choice for the letter K. This is a special camera for me. Why? Well it belonged to my grandmother who took a lot of photos during her lifetime of everyday life. It is a Kodak Brownie 2A.

J=Jörgen

One thing that is very present in my home is my husband that is called Jörgen som he is my letter J.

I=Inlagd sill

Inlagd sill is pickled herring in english. I believe this is not so common food outside Scandinavia but here it is like a national dish. At my home we eat this very often together with boiled egg and a sandwich as an evening dinner. It is very likely that you will find a jar of this in our fridge.

H=Hastbullar

Hastbullar for the letter H, lets explain this in english. This is a pastry that is made in a haste. You make them in only 20 minutes and hast in Swedish is haste or hurry in english.

G=Golfboll

We have arrived at the letter G and the swedish word for golf ball is: golfboll, not that different. I don't play golf, but my husband do and we do have golf equipment in the house. And as you might see our lawn is not as nice as a golf lawn.

F=Fluga

Again a Swedish lesson Fluga = Fly and that is something we for some reason have a lot of in our house and have had all winter long. So Fly is my photo for the letter F in my home from A-Ö.
